We exist to

train a generation of believers who are biblically literate, historically knowledgeable, and Spirit-filled, who live out the truths of Scripture and teach accurately the Word of God.

S.N.T. is a ministry of the Square Church in Smyrna, Georgia.

What is S.N.T.?

School of the New Testament (S.N.T.) is a part-time, 9-month inductive Bible school that takes students through every book of the New Testament.

S.N.T. utilizes the inductive study method to uncover timeless biblical truths through observation and an understanding of the text’s historical and literary context, rather than relying on assumed premises or widely accepted interpretations. Through this process, students learn to approach the Bible with confidence and knowledge, allowing the Spirit to guide them in the practical transformation of their own lives and the lives of those around them.

We aim to equip believers, in the midst of their everyday commitments, with tools not just to read but to understand, interpret, and live out Scripture through the work of the Holy Spirit.

FAQ

  • The inductive study method follows three steps: observation, interpretation, and application. Unlike deductive reasoning—which begins with assumed beliefs or widely accepted interpretations and then searches the text for evidence to support them—the inductive approach searches the text first, allowing Scripture to speak for itself and guide us to conclusions through careful observation and attention to context.

The SNT method is a distinct, step-by-step approach to the inductive study method that guides you through the process of observing, interpreting, and applying the text.

  • SNT follows a similar schedule to a regular school year.

The 2026-2027 school year will run from the first week of September 2026 through the last week of May 2027.

  • Class meets weekly on Wednesday evenings at the Square’s chapel building from 6:30pm-9:30pm, with a break about every five weeks, including major holidays.

We have one required Saturday seminar date at the beginning of each school year where we learn a majority of the SNT method steps. For the 2026-2027 school year, this occurs on September 12, 2026 from 9:00am-4:00pm.

  • SNT involves 3 hours of weekly class time (6:30pm-9:30pm on Wednesdays) and an additional 8–10 hours of homework. Think of it as the workload of a single college course, and consider whether this commitment fits into your schedule for the season.

  • For the 2026-2027 school year, the total cost of SNT is $600 ($80 for registration and $520 for tuition).

This can be paid in full, by semester, or by a monthly payment plan.

We never want the cost of SNT to be a barrier to taking the school, so please do not let that stop you from applying! We offer scholarships, and we’re happy to work with you if finances are a concern.

  • SNT is open to anyone 18 and older.

High school-aged applicants (aged 16–17) may be considered depending on parental oversight and other factors, so if you or your teenager fall within this age range, please reach out to us to chat further.

  • Though we hope to expand in the future, at this time we do not offer SNT online. Our in-person school runs of out the Square Church in Smyrna, Georgia.

  • No! SNT is open to everyone.

  • We are not accredited.
